How to Install PCF control to our organization?
Go to the pcf.gallery
The website will look like this.
From this library we will try to implement comments PCF control to our organization. I have searched for the comments PCF control.
This component also has the managed solution. If the managed solution is not available with PCF control, then we will have to build that in our local machine and then we can deploy that. So for now as an example, I have taken a component which is having the managed solution.
So, we will download the component.
This PCF control will convert the tabular data into the personalized comments like in conversational format. This PCF control will work in the Model Driven App.
After downloading the zip file, we will import that file in our organization as a solution.
We can see the solution is imported.
Here on the account I have added the subgrid for comments on the account main form.
Now, let’s go to the form designer.
On the bottom right, click the component.
Click get more components.
Click Built by Others tab. Select the component and click the add button.
After adding the component, make sure that the relevant screen to show the component is selected.
Save and publish the record. After publishing, we can see that the subgrid is changed to the comments box.
